This interior photo of St. Mark's Chapel in Hood River was taken on Christmas Day in 1930. I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone in the diocese and beyond and very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Please share any memories you have of Christmas in the Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Oregon.

I can tell you that the organ pictured in the right transept is a 2-manual & pedal reed organ built by the Estey Organ Co. of Brattleboro, VT. It is a Style "T" (of which there are several variations) which had from 10-to-12 ranks of free reeds.

Thank you for the information on St. Mark's organ. There are some folks in the congregation who remember the organ fondly, and even some who recall helping the organist pump during services.
