This digital product represents a few years of research on the history of The Episcopal Church, as well as the mission and ministry in the EDEO between 1960 and 2015. Research began in the winter of 2014. My interview with the late Rusty Kimsey led to a paper on the legacy of the Mutual Responsibility and Interdependence Program and Coalition 14. I have been researching the history of TEC and the EDEO ever since. My professors at Sam Houston State University have been gracious enough to allow me to conduct research and write on the history of the EDEO throughout the program. I completed this presentation for the Spring 2016 class, the History of American Culture and Religion, taught by Dr. Phillip Luke Sinitiere. In fact, this was my last course in Sam Houston State University's online graduate program in history. Over the next two months I will be defending my thesis and taking the comprehensive exams. Dr. Sinitiere advised me to present on the history of TEC and EDEO as if I were speaking to a group of undergraduate students with some professors looking on. I present to you a brief discussion titled, "Mission and Ministry: The Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Oregon, 1960-2015".
