Take a closer look at the convocation schedule above. There are some interesting bits of information on this document; it raises more than a few questions. For instance, where did the "afternoon visits" occur on Tuesday, May 18? Notice how Bishop Paddock gave his Annual Address instead of a sermon. Did he address the Organization of Convocation and House of Churchwomen, and if so, what did he say? Also, note Mrs. C.J. (Lulu) Crandall's historical notes. We recently uncovered Mrs. Crandall's records from this time period, it's likely that we have her address as well. What do we know about N.F. Coleman, professor at Reed College?
The answer to many of these questions reside in the 1915 MDEO Convocation Journal, which we do not have in our collection. The mystery for this month: where can we gain access to a copy of the 1915 MDEO Convocation Journal? You will need to perform a search using WorldCat to find the answer.
I look forward to seeing all of the EDEO folks out in The Dalles this weekend. I am presenting on the diocese's archives project as well as giving tours of old St. Paul's Church.
